Data and purpose

We process your shop domain and identifier, app authentication tokens, Shopify development-store status, product and variant identifiers, SKUs, inventory and prices, bundle definitions and versions, fallback product identifiers, check results, billing entitlement state, and the operational alert email you provide. We use this data to authenticate the app, save your definitions, prepare fallbacks you request, test storefront behavior, send operational alerts, enforce plan limits and maintain the service.

We do not request customer lists, order history or payment card data. Storefront checks use isolated browser sessions with synthetic carts; they do not create orders. We do not intentionally identify or track shoppers.

Legal grounds and service providers

Processing is necessary to provide the service you request and for legitimate interests in service reliability and abuse prevention. Shopify processes platform and billing data under its own policies. The app host provides infrastructure storage and processing. Resend (resend.com), our configured transactional email provider, processes operational alert destinations and message content to deliver alerts. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising. Contact us for current processor and international transfer details.

Storage and retention

Operational data is kept in the application database on the app host. Authentication tokens remain server-side. We retain bundle snapshots while your app account is active. After uninstall, access tokens and the alert destination are removed and scheduled processing stops. Shopify’s shop-redaction request deletes the remaining account data. You may request earlier deletion by contacting support. Routine infrastructure backups, where present, may retain data until their rotation completes.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, export or deletion, or object to processing where applicable. Contact support using the shop owner’s verified address and your shop domain; never send tokens, passwords or customer records. You may complain to your local data protection authority.

Security, cookies and updates

We use HTTPS, authenticated Shopify sessions, signed webhooks, access controls and server-side secrets. No system is risk-free. Shopify authentication and synthetic storefront checks may use essential session cookies. No advertising cookies are added by this app. We may update this policy when the service changes; the effective date appears above.
